The team’s t-shirt
The shirt I designed for the SBU ballroom dance team came in recently fresh off the press. I’m really happy that I had the opportunity to design a t-shirt and actually have it printed! Before this I had designed shirts but only hand painted them onto blank tees, which is why this is a particularly big deal to me. This passed weekend we got to wear the the shirt for the first time as a team to represent Stony Brook at the 2009 MIT Open Ballroom Competition. Before this most of the members didn’t have any form of team uniform to wear during competitions, but for the first time this year we appeared as a cohesive group. Needless to say it was pretty sweet.
Update: The banners in the Prints page are now linked to the full sized versions of the images. Click here to check it out.
The prints page is up!
WordPress is still new to me so its taking some time to figure everything out but the Prints page is now live! It will feature my previous works and will be updated continuously as more work comes in. The intention is to have the Prints page showcase the stuff that I’ve done. Everything will be viewable in its entirety via clicking the image banners. (still working on it) I’m currently leaning towards hosting the images on Flickr, but theres probably a better method of doing this that I have yet to figure out.
I’m going to try reach out to other organizations around the university campus to see if my services are be needed. Hopefully the upcoming Dancing with the SBU Stars event hosted by the Stony Brook Ballroom Dance Team will help raise some awareness of Coincidesign’s existence on campus. It was a spectacular show last year and there was a huge amount of people in attendance. The problem now is figuring out how to take advantage of this situation. Hmm.
Btw, who else thinks all this talk about the Obama family’s new dog “Bo” is really stupid? Though it is sort of funny because I call my roommate Bo.
Hello
Welcome to the new Coincidesign WordPress page.
I’m still getting everything together but in the meantime go ahead and check out the About page.
Updates coming soon!
